Initial enquiry
You describe what you would like: the aesthetic direction, the intended use, approximate dimensions, inspirations, a possible budget and a desired timeframe. A photograph of a bag you admire is a fine place to start.

Personal consultation
We discuss your requirements and what the material, construction and design allow. This is a conversation, by email, phone, video call or a visit to the atelier.

Design presentation
A small number of carefully considered design directions are presented. You give feedback and choose the approach you prefer.

Approval and quotation
Specifications, materials, price, timing, payment milestones, revision limits and other conditions are written down and approved by both sides.

Individual creation
We sculpt the wooden components and complete the assembly, interior and finish. You will follow the progress along the way, through video calls, pictures, phone calls, or a visit to the atelier. Whichever way suits you best.

Delivery and aftercare
The finished creation is presented and shipped securely to any country, with suitable product and care documentation. Shipping costs are informed upon enquiry.
Pricing
Every piece is quoted individually.
The price reflects the whole of the work: consultation, concept and design, hardwood selection, sculpting, assembly, finishing, lining and presentation. It depends on the complexity and requirements of your commission, and it is agreed in writing before any sculpting begins.
Timing
Made at the speed of the hand.
A timeframe is discussed at the first enquiry and confirmed with the quotation. If you have a date in mind, a gift or an occasion, say so early.
Terms
Agreed before we start.
Payment milestones, revisions, delivery, cancellation and aftercare are set out in the commission agreement so that nothing is uncertain. Studio pieces shown on this site are available as they are.

The whole process can happen at a distance. We consult by video call, and you follow the progress of your piece as it takes shape, from the chosen board to the final polish.
